통신 사기 혐의로 서울 당국에 수배된 한국 남성, 33세의 박슬기씨가 체포되어 자국으로 추방될 예정이라고 출입국관리국(BI)이 밝혔습니다. 그는 자신의 범죄에 대한 기소를 피하기 위해 필리핀으로 도피한 이후 지난 7년 동안 지속적으로 체포를 피했습니다.

박 씨가 한국의 전기통신사업법 위반 혐의로 기소된 서울 중앙지검과 홍성지방법원에서 발부한 체포영장의 대상이 된다고 말했다고 전했습니다.
당국은 박 씨가 보이스 피싱을 이용해 피해자들을 속이는 신디케이트의 일원이라고 주장했습니다.



In a statement, Immigration Commissioner Norman Tansingco identified the fugitive as 33-year-old Park Seul Ki, who was arrested on Aug. 12 in his residence in a village in Parañaque City by a team of operatives from the BI’s fugitive search unit (FSU) under Rendel Ryan Sy.

Sy said the Interpol’s national central bureau (NCB) in Manila said that Park is subject of an arrest warrant issued by the central district prosecutor’s office in Seoul and the Hong Sung district court where he was charged with fraud for violating Korea’s telecommunications business act.

Authorities alleged that Park is a member of a syndicate that employs voice phishing to defraud its victims.
