필리핀 이민국(BI)은 7월 17일 일본 오사카로 가는 에어아시아 항공편에 탑승하려던 한국계 미국인 제이슨 한 수(Jason Han Hsu)를 니노이 아키노 국제공항(NAIA) 터미널 3에서 체포했습니다.

이민국 커미셔너 노먼 탄싱코(Norman Tansingco)는 성명을 통해 제이슨 한 수가 출국 심사대를 통과하던 중 인터폴의 적색수배대상임을 확인하고 체포되었다고 밝혔습니다. 한 수는 미국 여권을 소지하고 있으며, 이 사건으로 인해 필리핀에서 불법체류자로 분류되어 재입국이 금지될 예정입니다.



The Bureau of Immigration (BI) apprehended at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 a Korean-American allegedly wanted in Seoul for telecommunications fraud.

In a statement, BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco said fugitive Jason Han Hsu was intercepted as he was about to board an Air Asia flight to Osaka, Japan on July 17.

Hsu, who holds a US passport, will be included in the bureau’s list of undesirable aliens and banned from re-entering the Philippines.

According to Tansingco, the BI officer assigned at the immigration departure counter saw that Hsu is the subject of a red notice from the Interpol.
