20대 한인 여성이 남성 공범과 함께 권총 강도 행각을 벌이다 경찰에 체포됐다. 경찰이 이 용의자의 집을 수색한 결과 집에서는 도난 신고된 총기들을 포함해 무려 13정의 권총과 다량의 마약이 쏟아져 나왔다.

버지니아주 페어팩스 카운티 경찰은 무장강도 등 혐의로 올해 26세의 이수현씨와 공범 마이클 본드(33)를 체포했다고 23일 밝혔다.

경찰에 따르면 이들의 강도 행각은 지난달 19일로 거슬러 올라간다. 당시 경찰은 새벽 3시45분께 버지니아주 비엔나 지역 올드 코트하우스 로드의 숙박업소에서 이들이 권총으로 폭행을 가하고 현금을 강탈해 달아났다고 밝혔다. 경찰은 수사를 통해 이씨와 본드를 용의자로 특정하고 체포 영장을 발부받아 메릴랜드주 프린스 조지 카운티의 가정집에서 이들 2명을 체포했다고 밝혔다.

집안 내부에는 13정의 총기와 4파운드의 메스암페타민이 발견돼 압수됐으며 13정의 총기 중 3정은 도난 신고된 것이었다. 경찰에 따르면 이씨는 강도, 불법 총기사용, 불법 탄약소지, 불법 마약 소지, 불법 마약 유통 등의 혐의로 기소됐으며 보석금 책정 없이 구치소에 수감됐다.



McLean Police District— Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau have charged two suspects in connection to a December robbery that resulted in the seizure of 13 firearms and four pounds of methamphetamine.

At 3:46 A.M. on December 19, officers responded to a robbery at the Residence Inn at 8400 Old Courthouse Road in Vienna. The suspects displayed a firearm and pistol whipped the victim before stealing money.

Through the investigation, detectives identified Michael Bond, 33, of Maryland and Ann Sue Hyun Lee, 26, of Sterling as the robbery suspects and obtained warrants for their arrest. Detectives from our Fugitive Track and Apprehension Squad arrested Bond and Lee.

Ann Sue Hyun Lee was charged with Robbery, Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, Transporting Over One Ounce of Schedule I/II Substance into the Commonwealth of Virginia, Possession of A Firearm with Schedule I/II Narcotics, Possession of Ammunition by Convicted Felon, Possession of A Firearm by Non-Violent Convicted Felon, and Possession with the Intent to Distribute Schedule I/II Narcotics. She is held on no bond.

With the assistance from Prince George’s County Police Department, detectives executed a search warrant at a home in Prince George’s County and recovered 13 firearms and four pounds of suspected methamphetamine. Three of the firearms were reported stolen.
