뉴욕시경(NYPD)이 지난 6일 공개수배했던 플러싱 한인 노래방 인근 성범죄 사건의 용의자 한인 남성 박명(40·사진)이 검거됐다.
8일 NYPD는 퀸즈 베이사이드에서 박씨를 전날 검거했다고 밝혔다. 시경 관계자는 이날 검거된 인물이 앞서 공개수배한 박씨와 동일인이라고 밝혔다.
박씨는 지난 4일 오전 5시 15분께 노던불러바드 161스트리트 H노래방 건너편 식당 인근에 서있던 43세 아시안 여성 피해자의 팔을 잡아끌어 골목으로 끌고 가 성범죄를 저지른 혐의를 받고 있다.
피해 여성은 범행 당일 인근 병원으로 이송됐으며, 생명에는 지장이 없다. 시경은 피해자에 대한 추가 정보는 밝히지 않았다.



The attacker wanted for dragging a 43-year-old woman into a Queens alley and sexually abusing her has been busted, police said Friday.

Myung Park, 40, was arrested Thursday, and charged with aggravated sexual abuse, criminal sex act, assault and kidnapping for jumping his victim in front of a karaoke bar on Northern Blvd. near 161st St. in the Murray Hill section of Flushing and then pulling her into the back passageway just after 5 a.m on Monday where the attack happened, according to the NYPD.

He then ran off, cops said.

A day after a surveillance picture of him was released to the media, Park was apprehended, police said.
