한국인 관광객 A씨에게 수면제를 먹였고, 의식을 잃자 그를 차에 묶었다고 진술했다. 이후 파타야로 이동하던 중 A씨가 의식을 되찾아 몸싸움이 벌어졌고, 이 과정에서 목이 졸려 숨졌다고 진술한 것으로 전해졌다. 이후 이들은 방콕 롬끌라오 지역 한 주택에서 시신을 대형 플라스틱 통에 넣어 파타야 한 저수지에 유기했으며, 희생자는 갈비뼈 등이 부러져 있었고 호흡 장애로 사망한 것으로 전해졌다.
