박창석(41세)과 이윤우(39세)가 지난 11월 12일 로스앤젤레스시 클락 프리포트 구역에서 BI의 도주 수색대(FSU) 요원들에 의해 체포되었다고 밝혔습니다.
비아도는 체포 요원들이 대규모 사기 혐의로 한국에서 수배 중인  박창석(41세)씨를 찾기 위해 BI의 도움을 요청한 한국 정부의 요청에 따라 내린 임무 명령으로 무장했다고 말했습니다.
참고로, 작전 중에 체포팀은 또한 과도 체류 중인 한국인이윤우(39세)가 박씨가 도주자임을 알면서도 그를 보호해 준 사람으로 지목했습니다.
BI 인터폴 부대에 따르면, 박 씨는 한국 수원지방법원에서 사기 혐의로 기소된 후 서울 인터폴이 발부한 청색 통지서의 대상입니다.
법원은 올해 5월 10일 박 씨가 피해자들을 속여 8천만 원, 즉 약 미화 5만 7천 달러 상당의 대출을 제공한 혐의를 근거로 박 씨의 체포 영장을 발부했습니다.



Park Chang Suk, 41, and Lee Yunwoo, 39, were arrested last Nov. 12 at the Clark Freeport zone in Angeles City by operatives from the BI’s fugitive search unit (FSU).

Viado said the arresting agents were armed with a mission order which he issued at the request of the Korean government which sought the BI’s help in locating Park who is wanted in his country for large-scale fraud.

Incidentally, during the operation the arresting team also encountered and arrested Lee, an overstaying Korean whom Park pinpointed as the one who sheltered him despite knowing that he the latter is a fugitive from justice.
